The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet is a Movie directed by Michel Gondry. Staring Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, and Cameron Diaz. This Movie is rated PG-13. This movie was co-wrote by Seth Rogen and I think he gave he self to many words just to throw out there and to the point where they were not even used well. I think the movie would be a lot better without all of them.

The movie I thought was fairly good. I love the action and I always loved watching Kato build something, he was so smart. Kato was my favorite character by far because of what he became from a orphan to a kick butt fighter and a he's great friend. This movie had very good action. I love how many action sences there are because there's not too many that makes you sick of them. I'm going to give this movie a 3 3/4 out of 5 stars just because of the extra cursing by Seth Rogen.

When You Reach Me

Front cover featuring a shoe, bread bag, winter jacket, library book, Miranda's school, a key, Miranda's apartment, two dollar bills and a mailbox; all important plot elements in the novel.

When You Reach Me is the 2010 Newbery Award Winner by Rebecca Stead, author of Umbrella Summer and The Thing About Georgie. This book is about a girl named Miranda and she lives in N.Y.C.,  she lives with her mom and is best friends with a boy named Sal. But one day this random kid comes up to Sal and punches him in the gut.

But the weirdist thing happens is that after the punch Sal stops talking to Miranda. So Miranda has to make new friends. But on a random day she gets a note, and it scares her. Now this note is just first...  This book does not have a word in it that does not matter, that means read it carefully because you WILL be amazed by this foreshadowing. This is a very strong book that I would like to be made into a movie ( Hopefully directed by Steven Spielberg ), and I liked it a lot.

A Tale Dark And Grimm

The last two days I've been reading this book. This book is all about the several tales of Hansel and Gretel. You may think there is only one, that is the cannibalistic baker women one, but no there are many more. This book is all the real Grimm story's about Hansel and Gretel.

This book has awesome bloody parts to cutting off your finger parts. And also very sad parts. Even if your not into gory things, I would still it least try a real fairy tale. A nice part of this book is that it is kind of short, and it will only take you a day or two.

This book's the author makes comments through out the book and they are pretty funny, like for example he will end the chapter and then started it again. Well I think this was by far the best fairy tale book I've ever read. And I recommend it to all.

Out Of My Mind

Out Of My Mind was read to me at school by my teacher Mrs. Terlecky. I loved it so much and it's one of her favorite's also. I'm so glad that she read this out aloud because it sends a very deep message, that every one the same and every one should be treaded nicely. This book has so many messages but it says those messages by the messages not happening.

Melody is a girl that has cerebral palsy(that a link to learn more about cerebral palsy).  Cerebral palsy makes you non-progressive. But it does not always make you stupid. Everybody thinks Melody is very stupid because of what she looks like, but she is not at all stupid. She is very smart. Many people support her and many don't. She almost has a third parent a friendly nieborgh Mrs. V.  Mrs. V takes her to the next level by making her crawl and making her pick up cards the she drops, that very hard for Melody.

For Melody to speak she use a board with words Mrs. V and her choose the words. She never has talked before and she will not ever be able too. Melody's board has just normal words like : Good 1,2,3,4,5,etc.  Love you etc. Then something so big happens and you just want to scream.

This is one of my favorite books all time, no doubt.

Here's Mrs. Terlecky's blog link. Check her blog out she share it with a man named Bill.
